Do not attempt to install the programme you have downloaded until Academia Ltd have supplied you with a serial number and a copy of your licence following your purchase.
The software can also be supplied on a USB Memory Stick.
Colleges and Universities should contact Academia Ltd. for licencing.
INSTALLING
BPC-Screenplay is designed to be used on computers with Windows XP. It can also be installed on computers running Windows Vista. The version currently available is BPC-SCREENPLAY DEBUT EDITION.
To Install:
1. Check the Windows XP programme on your computer has recently been updated and has .NET2 from Microsoft (download here).
2. Note the serial number you have been allotted following your purchase.
3. Download and save the BPC-Screenplay .zip file (screenplay_v02102007.zip) from this website, then
4. Ensure there is at least 100MB of free space on your hard disc before installing.
5. Follow the installation procedure step-by-step, entering the serial number when requested, open the setup.exe file and follow the installation procedure.
6. The programme will then open and you should follow the 'GETTING STARTED' section of the USER GUIDE to familiarise yourself with the programme.
7. Once you are familiar with the programme, which is designed to be intuitive, begin your own projects. It will be useful to refer to the 'GOOD PRACTICE' section of the 'USER GUIDE' to learn how best to structure your project.
If you encounter any problems refer to the 'USER GUIDE' or the 'FORUM' on this website. We are especially interested to learn of any bugs, or drawbacks you encounter and will do our best to rectify them.

IMAGE LIBRARY STILLS - A variety of additional stills (jpegs) for use in BPC-Screenplay projects can be downloaded from this website. They include images from several cities and a group of figures as .psd files (Abode Photoshop) and 'quick figures' to be used as samples, when manipulating images for your own projects.
AUDIO FILES - A group of 'Mute Audio' files of specific duration can be downloaded to provide reference timings for specific scenes, (1 sec, 3 secs, 5 secs, 10secs, 30secs, 60secs)
