Users who wish to share their projects may be interested to follow these instructions, when their project is first being created and BPC Screenplay installed.

Colleagues should ensure that their BPC Screenplay software and IMAGE LIBRARY is installed in the same place on each of the computers which may be used in the collaboration. (The path the the Screenplay installation must be the same, ie C:\BerlinPictureCompany\BPC-Screenplay\ImageLibrary\....

When a project has been saved, a copy of the project xml file and the project folder should be copied and sent to the other users. The relevant folders containing jpegs within the Image Library should also be copied to the other users' Image Librarys in the same path.

We hope that the full project should now open including both script and timeline. However, any disparities in the paths between the two computers will mean either that the project is only partly available, or may not be available on the other users' computers.

Similarly, when other users wish to send their new version of the project to the original author, it is recommended that the project has been saved under a new name, so the original author's work will not be changed.
